As Gmail debuted last year, web developers are mesmerized by the dynamic user interface created using XMLHTTPREQUEST. Since then, lots of websites sprung out using AJAX. However, without using AJAX, you can also achieve the dynamic interface successfully via Javascript + hidden iframe. My boss has mentioned that before to me and I thought it's not "cool" enough.
